The Purpose and The Promise

In life there are guidelines on living written in many books but none followed like Biblical scripture. Many cultures have their own versions but they all share similarities. One is the purpose and the promise. In each text someone is given a task (purpose) and upon completion they are granted what they seek (promise). What they seek usually is aligned with their purpose.
